Declarations of interest
According to Section 89 of the Act on Wellbeing Services Counties, the trustee and office holder of the wellbeing services county must make a declaration of interest regarding their management duties and honorary positions in undertakings and other entities, any significant wealth and affiliations that may be considered important in relation to their public responsibilities and official duties.
The declaration of interest obligation corresponds to members of the county executive, chairpersons and vice-chairpersons of the county council and committee, the chief executive of the wellbeing services county and the rapporteurs of the county executive and committee.
Declarations of interest are submitted to the county audit committee, which supervises compliance with the declaration obligation and brings declarations to the attention of the county council.
