We offer advice and guidance on matters concerning services and support measures for disabled people. Different support measures can make it easier for people to cope at home and outside the home.

Persons with disabilities and their family members receive counselling and guidance on health and social services, housing, studies, work, and finances.
The counsellors explain what services are available, how they can be applied for, and what preconditions there are for accessing them. If necessary, they can also provide advice on how to apply for and combine different types of financial support. The counsellors guide people to the providers of each type of service.
Counselling is available, for example, by phone and at service points. The counsellors do not make any service-related decisions.

Disabled client assistance telephone service
Through the disabled client assistance and service coordination telephone service, you can receive guidance and advice on services for the disabled.
The client assistance and service coordination telephone service covers the following areas:
- Hirvensalmi
- Juva
- Kangasniemi
- Mikkeli
- Mäntyharju
- Pertunmaa
- Puumala
The service will be extended to cover the entire wellbeing services county at a date to be announced later.
