Child welfare services
The purpose of child welfare services is to help families and support parents or guardians in taking care and raising children when a child’s wellbeing is threatened.
The assessment of the need for and implementation of child welfare services are based on what is considered to be the child’s best interest. The ultimate goal is for children to be able to grow and develop in their own home.
